Network Is Your Net Worth
Network.
I’m back. Made it back from Thailand.
An epic time at Mitch Miller’s event as always. Got to do a presentation which is cool. Everybody enjoyed that and then just really picked up some good content.
But the real value is in the networking. Mitch’s stuff is unbelievable. Mark Joiner’s, Bryan’s, Rob’s, everybody had really good stuff. But the networking at the lunches, after the meetings, in the mornings, just getting out my bubble and just talking to people.
A lot of times when I was in events, I was just working and not talk to people and just trying to focus and get something done. And my network never grew and this time I added Helen, Tom, Phil.
So many people to my network that can change my life and help me get to a level I want to get to. Help my clients get to a level they want to get to a lot faster than me trying to do everything myself and trying to learn how to do everything.
So, you know the old saying is, “Your network is your net worth”.
The older I get, the more I believe that and I wish I would have done that and taking care of that earlier in life. Because it changes so much when you can get around people that are where you want to be or doing what you want to do. Or maybe they’re doing something that you need to add to your business to get to that next level.
So, when you talk to different people and see what they’re doing, they’ll tell you,
“Oh no! don’t do this. I messed this up“,
“I’ll tell you about that time when I did this and it did not work out. Don’t do this“,
and it’s just so valuable.
Conclusion
So, when you go to events, don’t just lock yourself in a room, implement. Implementing is hugely important, I’m a big fan of it.
But also get out and network, just keep growing your skill sets which will help grow your business. Then design your business around your life and just have fun.
Have a good time when out, hang out and have a few beers, just fun stuff and network, it was amazing.
