Caption Facebook Videos

Caption Facebook Videos

This day I want to touch on Facebook. Did you know that most videos are watched with sounds off?

Think about how often you watch a video when you’re in the restroom or your wife is sleeping and you don’t want to wake her up. Or you’re at the doctor’s office, or you’re at work and trying not to get caught playing on Facebook.

If the sound is off people are going to skip the video, because they probably won’t understand what you’re saying. So, you have to make sure you have captions on your videos. Especially if you want to pay traffic to it. You have to have captions on there.

You can use rev.com to make the captions or you can do an ads manager. If you keep your video short, I think it’s under a minute or two, Facebook has a review and puts generic A.I. captions on it. It gets reviewed. I don’t know how it gets reviewed.

So, you get a high-quality file for your captions then when you go on there, putting the video in for you or ad.

So, make sure you put your captions on there, always have that. For me, it’s cool because I can save a dollar per video or say it’s a 2-minute video, 2 bucks so it’s 60 bucks a month if you’re going live every day or 14 bucks. But you can put that one towards your ads, you’ll spend at rev.com.

Conclusion

So, anything you can do to get more traffic, get more eyeballs on your offer, building brand awareness in your area, all these things multiply. So, make sure that you’re getting the caption added to your video when you’re doing a video.

I hope you enjoy those tips. I kept this one short and sweet but always make your video on Facebook and always have your videos captioned. See you next week!
