Get the most out of your digital marketing dollar.
Did you know that the simplest way to get to a massive audience with the least amount of money is through videos? It doesn’t have to be professionally done. It must be decent and clear enough for people to hear and understand that you can help them – with their business, marketing, or whatever it is that you are good at.
Your videos can start with a hook-like, “Hey, are you looking to get in shape?” Or “How many years have you been dieting and exercising without seeing results? Build up your content from there.
We want people to watch our videos until the end but chances are, they won’t. They will just watch half of it or the first 10 seconds and they will scroll through.
Here’s the secret sauce:
- Run an awareness type of video. Let’s call this a ‘first-level video ad’. It is a high quality, highly informative and asks the for-nothing-in-return video to a cold audience first.
- Build up your video viewers and retarget them later.
- Instead of spending tons of money to put up a video ad that targets a lot of demographics, you can shrink your audience down to the people who could be most interested in your product.
Don’t ask the viewers for anything on this video. The idea is to give them quality content and show them that you are the guy for this thing and that you could help them!

- On Facebook Manager, create different video audiences based on their watch time. To do this, follow the instructions below:
- Facebook Manager > Audiences > Create Audience > Create a Custom Audience > Use Facebook Sources> VIDEO
- Run/Split Test the second level video ads. Those that offer more info and would invite them to come into your school or check out your offers like FREE class, FREE meal plans or FREE passes, etc…
- See which of these audiences convert more and scale from there
This video ads strategy won’t only help you get more eyeballs to your offers, but could also give you more traffic to your website and social channels.
