More Leads Isn’t The Answer
More leads aren’t the answer.
Hey, I’m glad you are here. Today we are going to talk about Leads.
Everybody wants more leads. They think more leads is the answer. If your business is running out of soldiers that pretty much is the case.
But if your business isn’t, you’re just making matters worse, you’re adding gas to the fire.
So, when I talk to a client and start working with new people, the first thing we do is, we look at what their lead flow is.
We also get to their business.
Who’s setting new appointments?
What’s the appointment set up process?
How do they handle when people come in?
What’s the process there and what is the follow-up process?
You will be surprised by how many people that I’ve generated leads for and have done everything, they don’t even confirm their appointments.
So many things can go wrong in the business.
So, don’t spend all your time worrying about leads. Yes, they’re a very important part of the business that you have to get done.
But you have to understand all of your business systems. You have to have your marketing dialed in, your appointments dialed in, your sales dialed in, your retention dialed in.
There are so many pieces and the thing is everybody gets stressed about leads. They want more Facebook leads, more leads! It goes back to Glengarry Glen Ross.
The leads are weak. You have to have your system. You have to have your sales dialed in. Everything dialed in!
Don’t just get so one-dimensional. It’s a big problem I see with people that aren’t growing their schools.
If you working in all parts of your business, you have other people helping you work out all parts of your business, you are able to grow your school at a much faster rate. And get to those goals versus staying at the same exact number you’ve been up for the last five years.
Every year you sound just like people who cover the ones they lost and nobody wants to do that. People want financial freedom. They want to do more, enjoy more and just live the life they want. Have their own lifestyle gym.
Conclusion
Focus on every part of your business.
Yes, focus on your leads, but don’t spend all your time focusing on leads. It’s just one small piece of it. Grow everything else in the business too.
Keep grinding. Also, enjoy some family time. Don’t work too hard. Just keep pushing forward. Just keep moving forward.
