Spend More Time in Your Marketing
New week, new goals, new things to get done. So, let’s get after it.
I got a cool story I want to share with you. I was thinking a lot. I’ve been doing a lot of studying on Instagram, and Facebook Ads, and looking at different people’s stuff.
And you can tell that they’re throwing it together.
And I’m guilty of that sometime back when I first opened my gym. Back in 2003, there were not much media to advertise. You literally look forward to putting out your yellow page ad. That was a highlight and if you were lucky every 6 months you can get to update your ad.
So we’d spend weeks working on our yellow page ad. Maybe I should put this here, put this here, should I say this, should I not say this. But you had to put so much time and thought into it because once you published it, you couldn’t change it.
Well, now we got Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads, and we can go out there and change the variables all the time.
Embracing Modern Marketing: Make Every Post Count
So spend a little more time when you’re doing that. These are in your organic marketing. Spend a little bit more time making a better post, and better content. Instead of just throwing stuff out there.
Sometimes we get caught up in like, Oh, I got to post something. If I don’t post something I fall behind and then you post something crap and then they quit following you.
Get a little bit of extra time and effort into your marketing. And you’ll see those big gains that you’re not getting from just throwing stuff out there.
We started doing it a couple of times a year and now I can change stuff, sometimes I change things too often.
Put a little more time and effort into your marketing.
Moving Forward: The Power of Continuous Improvement
Build on that and just keep working to make the quality of your content much better.
And always talk to your customers and your future customers in the tone and words that they would be looking for, so you can relay your market and message.
Send a media you can always switch that out. That one’s pretty easy to do.
So I thought I want to share a story with you. I was thinking a little bit about that one.
Get that going and then I wanna challenge you. Every week I’d like you to make one thing you can do this week to improve your gym, your life, or your business.
Preferably one for each of those three but if you want to start out small, just do that. It’s a challenge and really, get out a piece of paper.
Preferably get to start using a journal. Just get a basic notepad journal and write down:
What’s one thing I can do to improve my business, to improve my life, my finances, and my family life?
Conclusion: Elevate Your Game
Focus on those four areas but start basic this week. Start with one goal for each one and make it real.
For sure, hit that goal by taking your wife out to dinner or might be spending a little more time studying Instagram Story Ads.
It might be a little bit more time to study Profits First and how to build a profitable business and life.
So, go out there. Set some goals. Let’s get after it. Let’s crush it.
I’m just trying to keep elevating my game and I want you to elevate yours.
