Today, I want to talk a little bit about a tip for finding your perfect customers. I’ll give you guys something that we do a lot and see a lot.
We talk to a lot of customers all the time. We’re updating their ad accounts and updating their funnels.
And everybody’s worried about their Facebook Ads or their funnel. But they’re missing the key ingredient. I actually learned this at a seminar in Phuket, Thailand with Mitch Miller. He’s one of my coaches and he’s one of the top copywriters around. This guy’s amazing with words and he helped me out a lot.
I was asking him all these complicated questions and he’s like, well, who’s your market and what do you need to say to them? And I was like, wait a second, that simplifies everything.
So basically, we talk to people when they come into our programs. Hey, who do you want in your business? I want everybody. No, you don’t want everybody.
Perfect customers
If you want to own a business, you’re going to have people. You’re going to have different customers. If you want to have a business that caters to families, it’s going to be a lot different environment than an ordinary one. Or if you want to have a program that’s primarily kids as customers, it’s going to be a lot different than 40-year-old families.
So, find out who your perfect customers are. They call people an avatar, not the blue people from the movie but an avatar. You can Google that, look it up in the avatar sheets. Figure out who you want in your business.
And once you know who your customers are, then all you need to do is figure out what the message is. The message that they need to hear to come into your business. If you can do those two things, you can use that on any media.
That’s the biggest mistake I saw people making is they always change its media but they never work on their marketing, their message. And the best copywriters in the world are the guys that are good and amazing at this stuff.
They spend more time on the market and the message that they do on anything. Some of those, I’ll jerk around about how ugly their funnels are. They don’t care because they’re hitting the market with the perfect message. It could be the crappiest funnel ever as long as it’s got an opt-in box and a button to click so keep it simple.
Another Big Thing
If you listen to people like Jim Rohn, they talk about the average of five people around you the most. So, if want to try to get around people, they’re going to help you get better at business. Help you get better at whatever you’re trying to get better at.
I attended an event in Puerto Rico, hosted by my coach and I truly believe in what my he does and he’s helped me out a ton. I went there with a bunch of my friends, and we’re hitting the marketing concepts hard.
He also brought in Bobby Stocks, another legendary name for being a badass at Facebook Ads. And Mitch, of course, is the king of Organic Facebook. These two, hosting an event together was truly a blast!

One-minute Google Ad to Instagram to Instagram stories. Then Facebook to YouTube. If your market and message are tight, you can switch the media out all the time, that’s what we do.
